We think consent should be provable.

We're a small team building the operational core of data protection for India's DPDP era — so that doing the right thing with personal data is something a company can actually prove, not just promise.

Why we exist

Compliance shouldn't live in a binder.

India just entered its data-protection era. For the first time, the personal data of more than a billion people sits under a single law — and the businesses that hold it now have to capture consent properly, honour the rights of the people behind that data, and keep records they can stand behind. Most companies are meeting that moment with spreadsheets, policy PDFs and good intentions.

That isn't enough, and it isn't how it has to be. ConsentEra exists to turn data protection from paperwork into operations — a living system that captures consent across every surface, automates the requests people make about their data, and seals all of it into a record that can be independently verified. Compliance you can run, not just file. Trust you can demonstrate, not just assert.

What we believe

A few things we
won't compromise on.

The principles that decide what we build, what we refuse to claim, and how we talk to the people who trust us with their data.

01

Proof over promises

Anyone can claim they handle data well. We build so that every consent, every right honoured, every erasure can be shown — tamper-evident receipts and a ledger no one can quietly rewrite.

02

Plain language over legalese

A notice no one understands isn't a notice. We write to be read — itemised, specific, in 22 scheduled languages plus English — and describe obligations as outcomes, never as clauses.

03

Built in India, for India's law

We aren't adapting a foreign framework after the fact. ConsentEra is designed around the DPDP Act and the way Indian businesses actually collect and use personal data.

04

Privacy is engineering, not paperwork

Field-level encryption, tenant isolation in the database, crypto-shred erasure. Protection that lives in the system itself — not a policy document filed away and forgotten.

Where we stand

Precise about what we are.

In a category full of overstatement, being exact about our role is part of being trustworthy. The same care we put into the product, we put into how we describe it.

We are A consent-management platform for Data Fiduciaries
We are not A registered Consent Manager, or a law firm
We say DPDP-ready — the Act is phased, and so are we
We never Trade in fear, penalties, or guarantees we can't prove
Careers

We're building the team.

We're early, and we're hiring across engineering, design and the work of explaining hard things simply. If building privacy infrastructure for a billion people sounds like your kind of problem, we'd like to hear from you — even if you don't see a title that fits yet.
